CWE-74  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade SLES:15.2 python3-devel to version 3.6.12-3.67.2 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream python3-devel package and not the python3-devel package as distributed by SLES. See How to fix? for SLES:15.2 relevant fixed versions and status.

http.client in Python 3.x before 3.5.10, 3.6.x before 3.6.12, 3.7.x before 3.7.9, and 3.8.x before 3.8.5 allows CRLF injection if the attacker controls the HTTP request method, as demonstrated by inserting CR and LF control characters in the first argument of HTTPConnection.request.
