Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream google-guest-agent package and not the google-guest-agent package as distributed by SLES. See How to fix? for SLES:15.5 relevant fixed versions and status.

A malicious SSH peer could send unsolicited global request responses to fill an internal buffer, blocking the connection's read loop. The blocked goroutine could not be released by calling Close(), resulting in a resource leak per connection. Unsolicited global responses are now discarded.
