CVE-2023-45539  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade SLES:15.5 haproxy to version 2.4.22+git0.f8e3218e2-150400.3.19.1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream haproxy package and not the haproxy package as distributed by SLES. See How to fix? for SLES:15.5 relevant fixed versions and status.

HAProxy before 2.8.2 accepts # as part of the URI component, which might allow remote attackers to obtain sensitive information or have unspecified other impact upon misinterpretation of a path_end rule, such as routing index.html#.png to a static server.
