How to fix?

Upgrade SLES:15.5 libpython3_9-1_0 to version 3.9.25-150300.4.109.1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream libpython3_9-1_0 package and not the libpython3_9-1_0 package as distributed by SLES. See How to fix? for SLES:15.5 relevant fixed versions and status.

When using the "tarfile" module with a file opened in "streaming mode" (mode="r|") the tarfile module did not properly handle EOF, making archive parsing take exponentially longer.
