How to fix?

Upgrade SLES:15.6 kernel-coco_debug-devel to version 6.4.0-15061.6.coco15sp6.1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream kernel-coco_debug-devel package and not the kernel-coco_debug-devel package as distributed by SLES. See How to fix? for SLES:15.6 relevant fixed versions and status.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

gtp: fix a potential NULL pointer dereference

When sockfd_lookup() fails, gtp_encap_enable_socket() returns a NULL pointer, but its callers only check for error pointers thus miss the NULL pointer case.

Fix it by returning an error pointer with the error code carried from sockfd_lookup().

(I found this bug during code inspection.)
