How to fix?

Upgrade SLES:15.6 kernel-source-coco to version 6.4.0-15061.28.coco15sp6.1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream kernel-source-coco package and not the kernel-source-coco package as distributed by SLES. See How to fix? for SLES:15.6 relevant fixed versions and status.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

crypto: lzo - Fix compression buffer overrun

Unlike the decompression code, the compression code in LZO never checked for output overruns. It instead assumes that the caller always provides enough buffer space, disregarding the buffer length provided by the caller.

Add a safe compression interface that checks for the end of buffer before each write. Use the safe interface in crypto/lzo.
