CVE-2025-38197  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade SLES:15.6 kernel-source-coco to version 6.4.0-15061.28.coco15sp6.1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream kernel-source-coco package and not the kernel-source-coco package as distributed by SLES. See How to fix? for SLES:15.6 relevant fixed versions and status.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

platform/x86: dell_rbu: Fix list usage

Pass the correct list head to list_for_each_entry*() when looping through the packet list.

Without this patch, reading the packet data via sysfs will show the data incorrectly (because it starts at the wrong packet), and clearing the packet list will result in a NULL pointer dereference.
