How to fix?

Upgrade SLES:15.6 python-gdbm to version 2.7.18-150000.71.1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream python-gdbm package and not the python-gdbm package as distributed by SLES. See How to fix? for SLES:15.6 relevant fixed versions and status.

The Python standard library functions urllib.parse.urlsplit and urlparse accepted domain names that included square brackets which isn't valid according to RFC 3986. Square brackets are only meant to be used as delimiters for specifying IPv6 and IPvFuture hosts in URLs. This could result in differential parsing across the Python URL parser and other specification-compliant URL parsers.
