CVE-2025-1713  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade SLES:15.6 xen-libs to version 4.18.4_06-150600.3.20.1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream xen-libs package and not the xen-libs package as distributed by SLES. See How to fix? for SLES:15.6 relevant fixed versions and status.

When setting up interrupt remapping for legacy PCI(-X) devices, including PCI(-X) bridges, a lookup of the upstream bridge is required. This lookup, itself involving acquiring of a lock, is done in a context where acquiring that lock is unsafe. This can lead to a deadlock.
