CWE-190  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade SLES:15.7 libexpat1 to version 2.7.1-150700.3.9.2 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream libexpat1 package and not the libexpat1 package as distributed by SLES. See How to fix? for SLES:15.7 relevant fixed versions and status.

In libexpat before 2.7.4, the doContent function does not properly determine the buffer size bufSize because there is no integer overflow check for tag buffer reallocation.
