NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream libMagick++-7_Q16HDRI5 package and not the libMagick++-7_Q16HDRI5 package as distributed by SLES. See How to fix? for SLES:15.7 relevant fixed versions and status.

ImageMagick before 7.1.2-19 contains a memory leak vulnerability in the PNG encoder when writing MNG images. Attackers can trigger the encoder failure condition to exhaust memory resources and cause denial of service.
