CWE-400  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade SLES:16.0.0 xkbcomp-devel to version 1.4.7-160000.3.1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream xkbcomp-devel package and not the xkbcomp-devel package as distributed by SLES. See How to fix? for SLES:16.0.0 relevant fixed versions and status.

Endless recursion exists in xkbcomp/expr.c in xkbcommon and libxkbcommon before 0.8.1, which could be used by local attackers to crash xkbcommon users by supplying a crafted keymap file that triggers boolean negation.
