The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Generation of Predictable IV with CBC Mode due to the use of a static initialization vector in the attribute encryption process. An attacker can infer when two encrypted attribute values are identical by comparing ciphertext blocks if they have privileged read access to the raw database files. This is only exploitable if an attacker obtains access to database files without the corresponding encryption keys, such as through stolen backups.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by disabling attribute encryption if not required, or by restricting filesystem access to the LDBM database directory to authorized administrators only.
