The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to LDAP Injection via the CleanAllRUV status-check extended operation, which allows injection of LDAP search filters. An attacker can extract sensitive server configuration metadata, such as replication bind DNs and password storage scheme information, by sending crafted requests that are processed with elevated replication plugin privileges. This is only exploitable if nsslapd-allow-anonymous-access is enabled.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by setting nsslapd-allow-anonymous-access to rootdse or off, restricting LDAP ports to trusted networks, monitoring for extop OID 2.16.840.1.113730.3.6.8, and using strong replication manager passwords.
