Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Integer Overflow or Wraparound via the mount_volume process. An attacker can manipulate file-size metadata and trigger unsafe read operations by causing an integer overflow in the calculation of fasize through crafted FAT32 volume data. This can lead to unauthorized access to sensitive information, modification of data, or disruption of system availability. Remote exploitation is possible in over-the-air update or pipeline scenarios.
