Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Neutralization of Special Elements in Output Used by a Downstream Component ('Injection') via the post-create event handler scripts, which write unsanitized systemd journal content containing embedded control characters to files in the dump directory. An attacker can inject arbitrary content into files written by root by embedding newline characters in syslog messages.
