Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Privilege Management in the SetIconFile process for systemd-homed-managed accounts. An attacker can access arbitrary files readable by the accounts-daemon process by supplying a crafted filename, as the process opens user-supplied files as root without proper validation or privilege dropping.
Workaround
This vulnerability can be mitigated by avoiding the use of systemd-homed-managed accounts on affected systems.
