Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to NULL Pointer Dereference due to handling incorrectly encoded extended file attributes from the database. An attacker can cause the application to crash by setting extended file attributes with an empty attribute value or with a key containing a comma.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by removing the xattrs group from rules matching files on affected file systems.
