Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Time-of-check Time-of-use (TOCTOU) Race Condition via the linenoiseHistorySave function. An attacker can overwrite arbitrary files or change permissions on unrelated files by exploiting a race condition between file creation and permission modification operations. This can be achieved by manipulating symbolic links during the window between file opening and permission changes, potentially disrupting system integrity and availability.
