Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Memory Allocation with Excessive Size Value via the HTTP/2 protocol implementation when HPACK compression is combined with flow control manipulation. An attacker can exhaust server memory and render the service inaccessible by sending specially crafted HTTP/2 requests that trigger excessive memory allocation.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by disabling HTTP/2 support for the affected virtual host by adding 'Protocols http/1.1' to the configuration and restarting the service.
