Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to NULL Pointer Dereference in the SMP LTK request process when asserts are disabled and a malformed or misbehaving controller is present. An attacker can cause a crash or denial of service by triggering a NULL pointer dereference during the handling of the LE Long Term Key Request event. This is only exploitable if asserts are disabled and a bogus or misbehaving controller is used.
