Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Read in the dhcp_message_type function when parsing DHCP options. An attacker can cause the system to read memory outside the bounds of a received packet and potentially crash the system by sending a crafted DHCP Offer or ACK packet without a proper 0xff end marker.
