Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Integer Overflow or Wraparound via the EFI PE loader process in efi/loader/pe.c. An attacker can execute arbitrary code in the bootloader context or cause a denial of service by supplying a crafted EFI PE binary through TFTP, USB, SD card, or network boot, exploiting integer overflow in virtual image size computation and improper validation of PE section loading boundaries.
