Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Race Condition in the SIG(0) validation process during a query flood when the recursive-clients limit is reached and a DNS message is discarded. An attacker can cause undefined behavior or a denial of service by flooding the server with DNS queries signed with SIG(0) to trigger a race condition that leads to use-after-free.
