Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Origin Validation Error via the named resolver when processing specially crafted NSEC records. An attacker can cause DNS wildcard records to be hidden from queries by supplying inapplicable NSEC records, resulting in misrepresentation of DNS information to clients and potentially impacting services that rely on accurate DNS resolution.
