The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Handling of Inconsistent Special Elements insertion of a malformed zone via zone transfer. An attacker can cause the server to cache attacker-supplied data for names outside the configured zone by introducing a specially crafted DNS zone into an authoritative server that also performs recursive lookups.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by separating authoritative and recursive DNS functions onto different instances or servers, and by restricting zone transfer sources to trusted hosts using the allow-transfer directive in the configuration file.
