There is no fixed version for busybox.
Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Write via the romfs volume ID parsing process. An attacker can achieve arbitrary code execution or cause a denial of service by convincing a local user to process a specially crafted filesystem image with the affected utilities. This is only exploitable if a local user actively processes a malicious romfs filesystem image with the vulnerable utilities.
Workaround
This vulnerability can be mitigated by avoiding the processing of untrusted filesystem images with the affected utilities and using alternative implementations such as the util-linux versions.
