The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Read in the get_client_hello process. An attacker can access sensitive information by sending a specially crafted, truncated ClientHello message that causes the process to read past the end of the input buffer. This is only exploitable if the ssl_server applet is compiled and used, as it is not included by default in certain distributions.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by avoiding the use of the ssl_server applet in production deployments.
