Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Missing Authorization in the MON subscription handler process. An attacker can gain unauthorized access to sensitive operational secrets, such as disk encryption passphrases and administrative SSH private keys, by exploiting missing authorization checks when serving config-key store contents. This can potentially result in root-level access to all cluster hosts and compromise of encrypted data at rest.
