Overview

cesanta/mongoose is a networking library for C/C++. It implements event-driven non-blocking APIs for TCP, UDP, HTTP, WebSocket, MQTT.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Insecure Default Initialization of Resource through the socket process. An attacker can cause the service to crash and become unavailable by repeatedly establishing multiple connections and sending malformed data to exhaust server resources.
