Overview

cesanta/mongoose is a networking library for C/C++. It implements event-driven non-blocking APIs for TCP, UDP, HTTP, WebSocket, MQTT.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Stack-based Buffer Overflow in the handle_mdns_record function of the mDNS Record Handler process. An attacker can execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service by sending specially crafted data to the vulnerable argument buf.
