How to fix?

Upgrade cesanta/mongoose to version 7.22 or higher.

Overview

cesanta/mongoose is a networking library for C/C++. It implements event-driven non-blocking APIs for TCP, UDP, HTTP, WebSocket, MQTT.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Read via the mg_tls_server_recv_hello function. An attacker can cause a crash of any HTTPS, MQTTS, or WSS service built on MG_TLS_BUILTIN by sending a crafted ClientHello message with an oversized session id length, leading to reading past the receive buffer.
