Overview

cesanta/mongoose is a networking library for C/C++. It implements event-driven non-blocking APIs for TCP, UDP, HTTP, WebSocket, MQTT.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Certificate Validation in the mg_tls_init process. An attacker can intercept, modify, or forge TLS traffic by presenting a forged self-signed certificate that passes hostname and CertificateVerify checks without proper signature verification.
