Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Read due to improper error handling in the Expect() and ExpectNext() functions of the V8 JSON parser. An attacker can perform out-of-bounds memory access by crafting a malicious HTML page containing specially crafted JSON that triggers parsing expectation failures, leading to garbage collection while the parser continues execution without proper error checking.
