Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow via the plane-allocation logic in the bundled CrabbyAvif (AVIF decoding) in the Codecs component. A remote attacker can cause heap corruption by tricking the user into opening a crafted HTML page that triggers AVIF content decoding, where the alpha plane is allocated after the color planes.
