Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Incorrect Authorization via the extension messaging activation propagation logic UserActivationState in the extensions component. An attacker can bypass navigation restrictions by tricking a user into installing a malicious extension that sends crafted messages carrying synthetic activation, letting a recipient frame navigate when it otherwise should be blocked.
