The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Write in the FSG file format parser due to improper boundary checks when processing FSG files. An attacker can cause memory corruption and terminate the scanning process by submitting a specially crafted FSG file for scanning.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by restricting network access to the daemon to trusted clients only, such as by configuring firewall rules to limit connections to the port the service listens on.
