The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Integer Overflow or Wraparound in the remote message decompression process. An attacker can cause the service to crash and potentially corrupt memory by sending a specially crafted compressed message to the remote-port or remote-tls-port before authentication. This is only exploitable if the CIB remote listener is enabled and accessible to unauthenticated network clients.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by disabling the CIB remote listener if not required, or by restricting network access to the remote-port or remote-tls-port using firewall rules to limit inbound connections to trusted hosts.
