The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Uncontrolled Resource Consumption ('Resource Exhaustion') via the user_readenv
option, allowing an authenticated user to kill any process.
Note: This is only exploitable if the user_readenv
option is enabled, which is not the default setting in some systems and is considered unsafe.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by disabling pam_env's user_readenv
option in PAM config.
