Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Use of Cryptographically Weak Pseudo-Random Number Generator (PRNG) via the turn_random() function. An attacker can predict authentication nonces and relay port allocations by reconstructing the state of the random number generator after making multiple sequential allocation requests. This enables sending authenticated messages while spoofing IP addresses and predicting future relay ports.
Note: This is only exploitable if the attacker knows valid credentials, which is often the case in certain IoT deployments.
