Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Buffer Underwrite (Buffer Underflow) in the base60 parsing process in perl_syck.h. An attacker can trigger a buffer underflow and cause an out-of-bounds read by supplying specially crafted colon-separated values, which may lead to reading memory outside the allocated buffer.
