Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Buffer Over-read in the parsing of nested MIME comments. An attacker can access sensitive information from heap memory by sending a specially crafted email message containing an RFC 822 comment ending with a backslash, which causes the server to read beyond the intended message boundary and return unintended memory content to the user.
