Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Write via the luaG_runerror() function in the ldebug.c file. An attacker can cause arbitrary code execution or application crash by supplying crafted input that triggers a write operation outside the bounds of the allocated heap buffer.
