CWE-20  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade DataDog/dd-trace-cpp to version 0.2.2 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Input Validation due to the improper handling of malformed unicode header values. An attacker can cause the application to crash by sending specially crafted unicode headers that trigger an uncaught exception in the JSON parsing library.
