How to fix?

Upgrade dnsdist to version 1.9.12, 2.0.3 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Use After Free via the DNSQuestion:changeName or DNSResponse:changeName methods in custom Lua code. An attacker can cause a crash and disrupt service by sending specially crafted DNS responses that result in rewritten packets exceeding the maximum allowed size.
