Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow in the processing of crafted UDP responses. An attacker can cause an out-of-bounds write by sending a specially crafted UDP response with a query ID off by one from the maximum configured value, potentially leading to denial of service or integrity impact.
