Start learningUpgrade dnsdist to version 1.9.15, 2.0.7 or higher.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling through the handling of crafted DNS over HTTP/3 queries in the DoH3 process. An attacker can exhaust system memory by sending a large number of specially crafted queries, causing exceptions that delay buffer deallocation and potentially leading to an out-of-memory condition.
