Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Read in the processing of RRSIG records during DNSSEC validation due to improper calculation of the signature length in the RRSIG record. An attacker can cause a process crash by sending a specially crafted DNS response containing a malformed RRSIG record with a data length smaller than the fixed fields, resulting in an out-of-bounds read.
