The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Validation of Syntactic Correctness of Input through the login process when invalid base64 SASL data is sent. An attacker can disrupt all active authentication sessions by sending malformed authentication data, causing the login process to disconnect from the authentication server and preventing legitimate users from authenticating. This can result in service disruption for concurrent logins.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by disabling concurrency in login processes, though this may significantly impact performance on large deployments.
