Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to SQL Injection in the authentication process when the auth_username_chars configuration is cleared. An attacker can gain unauthorized access to user accounts and enumerate valid usernames by sending specially crafted authentication requests. This is only exploitable if the auth_username_chars configuration is cleared by an administrator.
